Recently, the 2026 Spring Job Fair for Key Employers, targeting 2026 graduates, was held at the Xuhui Campus of ECUST. The event was organized to support graduate employment and align talent development with emerging industrial needs.

The job fair was closely aligned with national development strategies and Shanghai’s key industries, while also reflecting the university’s Two New, Two Great Initiative, which refers to a strategic focus on new energy and new materials, as well as major initiatives in health and safety. The event attracted a number of leading companies and key institutions, including Huawei, Wanhua Chemical, COMAC, covering major sectors such as new energy, new materials, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence. In addition, several key regions and industrial park, such as Yantai, Shanghai Chemical Industry Parks, the Lin-gang Special Area, Jinshan District, and Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, participated in the fair, leveraging the clusters advantages to offer graduates a diverse range of career opportunities.

A dedicated career services zone was also set up at the venue, where professional advisors and experts from both within and outside the university provided one-stop consultation services on résumé writing, national civil servant exam, and overseas study applications. With coordinated support from multiple departments, recruitment information was disseminated across multiple platforms to ensure targeted delivery to graduating students.

Since the beginning of the new semester, the university has organized a series of recruitment seminars by leading companies. It is also reported that from March 12 to 13, the university will host the 2026 Spring Joint Job Fair for Science and Engineering Universities in Shanghai and the ECUST Spring Job Fair, which are expected to bring together more than 370 employers offering over 7,000 job opportunities.

In addition, several well-known companies, including Shanghai Electric Group, CATL, and Midea Group, will soon visit the campus to hold dedicated recruitment presentations, providing targeted opportunities for graduates from different majors. 

Looking ahead, the university will continue to focus on its Two New, Two Great Initiative and support talent development in fields related to new quality productive forces, while building higher-quality and more targeted employment platforms to support graduates in securing fulfilling and high-quality employment.
